Who is Mr. Lovewell?

Who is Mr. Lovewell? (Love well)

He’s an idea.
He’s a movement.
He’s the hope that the little things can add up to a big change.
He’s what the Bible has already called us to do: love one another. Look for the best in people. Give people a chance regardless of status, race or gender.
Mr. Lovewell is the understanding that the gospel is for everyone. Some may receive it, some may reject it, but, from where we’re standing, all that should matter is that the Gospel applies to us all.

Sometimes God calls us to move from where we are to where He wants us to be.
If we want to get closer to Him, it means leaving comfort and heading into the unknown.
It can be as complicated as a complete life change… or as simple as giving up a chair.

What We Learned

On September 11, 2001, the unthinkable happened to our country.
That day and the days that followed are forever etched in our memories.
During that time, we learned so many things we wish we could forget.
But even in the darkest moments, light emerged, and we began to learn some powerful truths.

But Johnny’s more than meets the eye, and his profound ways of looking at life force Luke to question not only his past choices, but his direction for the future.

Joel Osteen vs. Rick Warren on Prosperity Gospel

După Mark Driscoll vs. Joel Osteen  (AICI), în privinţa Evangheliei Prosperităţii, urmează Rick Warren vs. Joel Osteen.

Does God want us to be rich?
When I hear that word rich, I think people say, ‘Well, he’s preaching that everybody’s going to be a millionaire.’
I don’t think that’s it.
I preach that anybody can improve their lives.
I think God wants us to be prosperous.
I think he wants us to be happy. To me, you need to have money to pay your bills.
I think God wants us to send our kids to college.
I think he wants us to be a blessing to other people.
But I don’t think I’d say God wants us to be rich. It’s all relative, isn’t it?
Joel Osteen (Source)

This idea that God wants everybody to be wealthy?
There is a word for that: baloney. It’s creating a false idol.
You don’t measure your self-worth by your net worth.
I can show you millions of faithful followers of Christ who live in poverty.
Why isn’t everyone in the church a millionaire?
Rick Warren (Source)
