Friend, you need Jesus as your Lord & Savior not because you’ll die tonight but because you’ve got to live tomorrow.

A W Tozer
– What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.

– You’ll never understand yourself fully. But you can get to know Jesus who does understand you fully and still loves you.
– It’s stupid to assume we know the motivations of other’s hearts. We don’t know our own motivations most of the time.
– If you always give „a piece of your mind” to those who irritate you, you soon have none left. Be better.

A W Tozer
We can never know who or what we are till we know at least something of what God is.

– Planting a church by attracting disgruntled believers is one of the stupidest ideas I’ve heard, for a dozen reasons.
– Pastor, you attract what you are. If you’re cranky, folks who love to argue and fight will fill the church. If you gossip, they will!

– Pastor, God called you to feed and lead His sheep, not corral goats.

A W Tozer

– Nothing’s easier to talk about than surrendering ourselves and dying on the Cross; nothing’s harder than actually doing it.

J.C. Ryle
Holiness comes from Christ. It is the result of vital union with Him. It is the fruit of being a living branch of the true Vine.

C. S. Lewis
– You can’t really be so well-adjusted to your world if it ends by nailing you up to a stake of wood.

– Music styles are languages. It takes all kinds of languages to communicate God’s love to all kinds of people.
– Authenicity is NOT a style of music. What makes music authentic is the character of the musician playing it.
– Churches have a million times more local connections around the world than any news agency or govt. could dream of having.
– Street vendors know a brand LABEL doesn’t guarantee an item is genuine. It’s also true for those claiming to be Christians.

J.C. Ryle
